Delete account

You can have your account for Heimrunde, an app by Bochmann Software GmbH, deleted at any time. This applies to the app in the browser and the Android app alike, as both use the same account.

How to request deletion

1. Write from your account's e-mail address to [email protected] with the subject “Heimrunde: Delete account”.
2. If you sign in with Google, state the e-mail address of your Google account.
3. We confirm receipt, check that the request comes from you, and delete your account within 30 days. You receive a confirmation once the deletion is done.

Once the app offers deletion itself, you will find it in Heimrunde under Settings › Account. If you only want to disconnect the sign-in with Google, you can already do that there.

What is deleted

• your account with e-mail address, display name, password hash and connected sign-in methods, including the connection to Google,
• your sign-in sessions, your devices' push subscriptions, notifications and personal settings,
• your membership in all households,
• households in which you are the only member, with all their content and pictures.

What is kept

• Content you created in a household with other members, for example shopping list entries, dishes or appointments, remains available to those members but is no longer linked to your account. If you want such content deleted as well, please say so in your request or delete it in the app beforehand.
• Server logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest regardless, backups when they are overwritten in the regular cycle.
• Data we must retain due to legal obligations is deleted when the respective period ends.
